1. Emergency Cover

Our comprehensive Home Emergency Cover is designed to provide peace of mind and swift, effective solutions when unexpected situations arise in and around your home.

Our service gives you access to elite, fully vetted tradespeople, ensuring high-quality repairs and emergency responses without the hassle of finding reliable professionals yourself.

Section 2 outlines the services included within the cover, such as plumbing repairs, electrical issues, heating system failures, and home security. The cover is tailored to your home following inspection and is designed to address the most common household emergencies, keeping your home safe and comfortable.

Section 4 explains what is excluded from the cover. Some situations — including pre-existing conditions, general maintenance, or cosmetic repairs — may not be covered. By clearly defining inclusions and exclusions, we aim to provide transparency and help you make informed decisions about your home emergency cover.

2. General Inclusions

Home Emergency Cover includes repairs only (not replacements) for the following:

  • Plumbing emergencies and drainage issues, including leaks, blockages, and burst pipes

  • Central heating and boiler breakdowns

  • Electrical emergencies, including power failures and wiring faults

  • Roofing emergencies relating to leaks

  • Security issues, including broken locks or windows

  • Lost keys – gaining access to the property

Please note: repairs are included, but replacements are not covered under this policy.

3. How to Request a Call-Out / Repair

You can request an emergency call-out in the following ways:

  • Via our website by clicking the Repairs icon

  • By telephone or WhatsApp on 0161 518 3221

  • By email at info@tradiego.co.uk

There are no excess charges, and you have unlimited call-outs, subject to the conditions outlined in this document.

Once you have subscribed, you cannot request a call-out or repair within the first 14 days.

When requesting a repair or emergency call-out, the area around, in front of, or behind the issue must be cleared to allow access. Failure to do so may result in the call-out being void or the repair being unrepairable.

4. General Exclusions

The following are not covered under this policy:

  • Pre-existing conditions – issues that existed before the policy start date

  • Wear and tear or damage caused by lack of maintenance

  • Unoccupied properties – typically where the property has been unoccupied for 30 days or more

  • Deliberate damage caused by the policyholder or occupants

  • Secondary residences, such as holiday homes

  • Certain appliances, including older models, appliances under manufacturer warranty, and white goods

  • Rodent problems

  • Damage or repairs resulting from poor workmanship

Electrical issues relating to the following are also excluded:

  • Hot tubs

  • Solar panels

  • Air conditioning systems

  • Electric showers

5. Conditions

To maintain your Home Emergency Cover, payments must be kept up to date and all advice provided by our experts must be followed.

Damage resulting from malicious acts or vandalism is not covered. Any existing issues must be resolved by our team before they can be included within the policy.

Repairs are covered; however, replacement parts are not included and will incur an additional charge if required.

Where access is needed to carry out a repair, any damage caused to walls, ceilings, or flooring is not covered. Only the reported issue at the time of the call-out is included.
